WANTED ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED BY LAUREL POLICE AFTER GIVING FAKE NAME

Laurel, DE - On December 12, 2023, at approximately 11:35 am, a Laurel Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Seaford Road and Discount Land Road in Laurel, Delaware. 

During the straffic top, one of the occupants of the vehicle provided the officer with a false name in an attempt to conceal his true identity. Laurel Police officers are equipped with mobile fingerprint scanners, and scanned the subject's fingerprints to confirm his information.

The subject was identified as Amauri Parker-Warner (19) of Bridgeville, Delaware. He was found to have active warrants out of the Harrington Police Department for Robbery, and the Delaware State Police for Shoplifting. 

Parker-Warner was charged by the Laurel Police Department with one count of Criminal Impersonation (Class A Misdemeanor). He was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $500 unsecured bond to be processed for his additional warrants.
