Laurel, DE - On November 6, 2023, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Laurel Police Officers were conducting a property check of the Hollybrook Apartments, which is located on Pasture Lane in Laurel, Delaware.

During the property check, units located Tracey N Deshields (54) of Laurel, DE, in the laundry room of the 100 Building. Deshields was known to be barred from the Hollybrook Apartments and had an active felony warrant issued by the Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (S.O.A.R.) for Registered Sex Offender Fail to Register Address (Class G Felony). 

He was subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of crack cocaine and related paraphernalia. He was issued a criminal summons for the drug charges and turned over to the custody of Delaware State Police to be arraigned on his active warrant. 

Deshields was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
