Water Service Line Replacement Underway on Riverview Avenue

Salisbury, MD - The City of Salisbury's Department of Waterworks Utilities Division began replacement work on a water service line this morning, Wednesday, August 13, in the 500 block of Riverview Avenue.

This initiative is part of the city's continued efforts to improve and maintain its municipal water distribution system.

During the project, Riverview Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Riverside Drive and Evergreen Avenue. Work started at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m., provided there are no unforeseen delays.

Prior to the commencement of this project, all utility locators and Central Alarm were notified.
