WICOMICO COUNTY ANNOUNCES 2025 MEMORIAL DAY CLOSINGS

Wicomico County, MD - Wicomico County Government has announced that in observance of Memorial Day, several services will be unavailable on specific dates in May. On Monday, May 26, 2025, all Wicomico County Government offices will be closed for Memorial Day.

Additionally, for those planning to visit the Newland Park Landfill, the Brush Pile, or use any of the external Convenience Centers, please be aware that these facilities will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024.

The Whitehaven Ferry and Upper Ferry services will also be closed for the day.

Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and note these dates to avoid any inconvenience.
