Wicomico County Fair Returns to WinterPlace Park this Weekend

Wicomico County, MD - The Wicomico County Fair will take place at WinterPlace Park in Salisbury from Friday, August 15, to Sunday, August 17.   

The event, organized by Wicomico Farm & Home Show and Wicomico County, is presented by sponsors such as Perdue, Toyota, Piedmont, and Baths by Spicer Bros.  

The fair aims to highlight the importance of agriculture on Maryland's Eastern Shore, all within a family-friendly setting.  

Key attractions include the following:

• Maryland High School Rodeo  
• 4-H and FFA competitions  
• Livestock shows  
• A variety of contests, including watermelon, pie, and hot wing eating competitions  
• Petting farms and duck races  
• Disc dog performances  
• Car and Jeep shows  
• Live music and vendor stalls  
• A fireworks display is scheduled for Friday evening  

Admission to the fair is free, and parking is available at no cost.  

The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 15, at 4:00 p.m. Media representatives are encouraged to attend.
