Wicomico County Seeks Concession Stand Operator for Billy Gene Jackson Park

Salisbury, MD - Wicomico County has announced a search for organizations to operate the concession stand at Billy Gene Jackson Park in Salisbury, Maryland. The Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism is currently accepting applications for the 2026 season.

Selected operators will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the concession stand and its equipment during specific events held at the park.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) has been published on the County's e-Procurement portal, OpenGov. Interested parties can access the full project details online at the Wicomico County OpenGov portal.

Proposers are required to register for an account on the site to submit an application. Once registered, selecting "Follow" on the project will ensure that notifications regarding any addenda are sent directly to the user's email.

All inquiries regarding the proposal must be submitted through the e-Procurement portal. Answers to these questions will be posted on the website for public review.

The deadline for submitting inquiries is 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Final proposals must be submitted via OpenGov no later than 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
