Wicomico County Seeks Volunteers for Human Rights Advisory Committee
WICOMICO COUNTY, MD - The Wicomico County Council is seeking volunteers to serve on the newly formed Human Rights Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to foster harmony, equity, and equality among the citizens of Wicomico County.
The committee will hold regular monthly meetings and will make recommendations to the County Executive and County Council. These recommendations will be intended to alleviate social problems and promote equality, understanding, and harmonious relations among county citizens. The committee will also meet with the Wicomico County Council at least twice a year to provide updates, recommendations, and concerns.
Residents who are passionate about human rights, social justice, and building stronger, more inclusive communities are encouraged to apply.
