Woman Faces Multiple Drug and Traffic Charges After Seaford Arrest
SEAFORD, DE - A Seaford woman was arrested on multiple drug and traffic-related charges following a traffic stop on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
At approximately 12:03 p.m., a Seaford Police Department officer observed 32-year-old Miya Newcomb driving a vehicle near the intersection of Clarence Street and North Street. The officer initiated a traffic stop after confirming that Newcomb's driver's license was suspended.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered various controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and a significant amount of cash. A child was also present in the backseat of the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Newcomb was taken into custody and charged with seven counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. She also faces multiple traffic offenses and a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Newcomb was committed to the Department of Corrections. She was issued a $12,802 secured bail for the new charges and is being held on a $3,000 violation of probation.
