WOR-WIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE CELEBRATES GRADUATES OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Wicomico County, MD - Wor-Wic Community College recently held a pinning and awards ceremony to honor seven students who graduated from the occupational therapy assistant program in May. This event marked their completion of the program and officially welcomed them into the occupational therapy profession.
The ceremony featured Savannah Bolick from Hurlock as the student speaker. Stuart Gibbs, the former fieldwork coordinator and instructor for the program, delivered the keynote address. Dr. Dawnn Thomas, the department head and associate professor, presented pins to the graduates as a symbol of their entry into the field.
The graduates included Patty Cubbage from Pocomoke City; Maxime Fatal, Talia Matthews, and Ahydia Ward, all from Salisbury; Marysol Pereyra from Newark; Kelsie Ridpath from Delmar, Delaware; and Savannah Bolick from Hurlock.
