WOR-WIC STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO PTK

Wicomico County, MD - Recently, twenty-two students from Wor-Wic Community College were honored during an induction ceremony into the esteemed Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. This event took place on the college's campus in Salisbury, marking a significant milestone for these high-achieving community college students.
Phi Theta Kappa is recognized internationally as an honor society and is known for its commitment to encouraging academic excellence among community college students.
The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter has been a part of the Wor-Wic community since it was chartered in September 1987, and it continues to uphold this tradition of excellence.
The induction ceremony was led by the chapter's dedicated advisors, Dr. Dana Burnside, a professor of communication studies, and Juley Harper, an associate professor of English. Both educators play a crucial role in guiding the students and fostering an environment conducive to academic growth and achievement.
WICOMICO COUNTY - Students from Wicomico County recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College included Darline Biennevil, Noah Davis, Barrie Dennis, Gearan Garrison-Wright, Gyvven Garrison-Wright, Emma Harris, April Dawn Joudrey, Alena Morgan, Tiffany Vazquez-Figueroa and Adele Vogt of Salisbury; Isabella Kirby of Quantico; Anna Painter of Mardela Springs; and Kris Watson of Fruitland.

SOMERSET COUNTY - Two students from Somerset County, Tatiana Rubio-Villafuerte of Crisfield and Damien Roche of Marion Station, were recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
ACCOMACK COUNTY - Two students from Accomack County, Va., Adam Hunter of Greenbackville and Jewel Maloney of New Church, were recently inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
