Worcester County Government Offices Schedule for Thanksgiving Holiday

Snow Hill, MD. - Worcester County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of Thanksgiving Day and American Indian Heritage Day.

This closure includes the Worcester County Recreation Center and all five branch libraries. The libraries will remain closed on Saturday, November 29, before reopening for their standard hours.

The Central Landfill in Newark, along with the Homeowner Convenience Centers in Berlin, Pocomoke, and Snow Hill, will be closed on Thursday, November 27. These facilities will resume standard operating hours on Friday, November 28.

The Worcester County Recreation Center will be open during its regular hours on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30.
