Worcester County Government Offices to Close for Labor Day Holiday

Worcester County, MD - Worcester County Government offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The closure affects all WCG facilities. This includes the Worcester County Recreation Center and the five branch libraries located throughout the county.

The Central Landfill and Homeowner Convenience Centers will also remain closed during the holiday.

Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. All offices will return to their standard operating hours on that date.

Worcester County Government staff extend their wishes for a happy and safe holiday weekend to all residents.
