Worcester County Job and Resource Fair Scheduled for April 1 in Snow Hill
Worcester County, MD - Worcester County Tourism and Economic Development will host a Job and Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Snow Hill Volunteer Fire Company. The event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The fair will bring together employers from across Worcester County offering both part-time and year-round positions. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with prospective employers and explore various career opportunities across multiple industries. The event caters to individuals at all career stages, including experienced professionals, recent graduates, and those seeking part-time employment. "This job fair brings opportunities directly to community members within the county," said Nancy Schwendeman, WCTED Workforce Development Specialist. "This is the perfect chance to network and connect with local employers, while simultaneously exploring valuable resources available to you. A full list of participating employers will be released closer to the date of the job fair." Additional community resources will be available at the event. Representatives from the American Job Center, Wor-Wic Community College, the Department of Labor, Worcester County Adult Education, Shore Transit, and other organizations will be on-site to provide assistance. Spanish and Haitian Creole interpreters will be available to provide interpretation services. Registration is not required but is recommended.
