Cambridge Man Arrested After Race Street Disturbance
Cambridge, MD - September 28, 2026, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the Cambridge Police Department responded to the 500 block of Race Street in Cambridge, Maryland, for a disturbance. Officers were working to get several people to leave the area so the disturbance would not continue.
During the investigation, police say 23-year-old Zion Antwan Golson of Cambridge became disorderly. Officers told him to stop and to leave the area, but he refused.
Golson was arrested and taken to the Cambridge Police Department for processing. While he was there, officers learned he had an active bench warrant out of Talbot County District Court.
The warrant was for failing to appear in court on April 7, 2026. It stemmed from an original charge of driving without a license.
Golson was issued a criminal citation for the new incident. He was later released on a $3,500 unsecured bond on the bench warrant.
Golson was charged with disorderly conduct.
