Cambridge Man Charged With Assault After Argument Turns Physical on Oyster Catcher Court
Cambridge, MD - A Cambridge man is facing assault charges after an argument ended with the victim being struck and threatened, according to the Cambridge Police Department.
On May 6, 2026, officers served a criminal summons on Alonzo Lamont Davis, 31, of Cambridge. The summons was served at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The charges stem from an incident that took place two days earlier on May 4, 2026. The reported incident occurred in the 200 block of Oyster Catcher Court in Cambridge.
According to police, Davis arrived at the location where a verbal argument broke out between him and the victim. During the argument, Davis hit the victim's hand and threatened to kill them.
Following the incident, the victim applied for charges through the court commissioner. Davis was subsequently charged with assault in the second degree.
