Cambridge Man Charged With Assault After Hitting Victim With Speaker
Cambridge, MD - A Cambridge man is facing assault charges after a victim reported being struck with a speaker and smacked on the wrist inside a home on Choptank Avenue.
At around 2:25 a.m. on May 10, 2026, Cambridge Police Department officers served a criminal summons on Tyrell Crumble, 36, of Cambridge.
Crumble was charged with two counts of Second Degree Assault.
According to authorities, the incident happened on May 9, 2026, in the 200 block of Choptank Avenue. The victim reported that while walking through the residence, Crumble hit them in the back with a speaker.
The victim also reported that Crumble later smacked them two times on the wrist, knocking a phone out of their hand.
The victim applied for charges through the court commissioner, which led to the criminal summons being served.
