Cambridge Police Arrest Man, 78, on Court Warrant
Cambridge, MD - On September 25, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) arrested a man in the 600 block of Pine Street in Cambridge, Maryland. Officers took 78-year-old Gary Gregory Greene of Cambridge into custody.
Greene was wanted on an active bench warrant from the Dorchester County District Court. The warrant says he did not show up for a court date on February 2, 2026.
A bench warrant is issued when a person misses a scheduled court date. The original charge in Greene's case was trespassing.
After the arrest, officers took Greene to CPD for processing. He was later released on his personal recognizance.
Release on personal recognizance means a person is let go without paying bail. The person agrees to return for future court dates.
