Cambridge Woman Charged with Burglary After Allegedly Entering Home and Stealing Money
Cambridge, MD - A Cambridge woman is facing burglary and theft charges after she was accused of entering someone's home without permission and stealing money earlier this week.
At approximately 9:32 p.m. on April 24, 2026, Cambridge Police Department officers served a criminal summons on Nichole Wehberg, 39, of Cambridge, Maryland.
Wehberg was charged with Burglary in the First Degree, Burglary in the Fourth Degree, and Theft in the amount of $100 to under $1,500.
According to police, the incident occurred in the 300 block of Crusader Road in Cambridge. The victim reported that Wehberg had unlawfully and without permission entered their residence and stolen money.
When the victim arrived at the home, they found Wehberg inside and told her to leave. She did leave the property at that time.
After Wehberg had left the premises, the victim noticed that money was missing from the residence. The victim then applied for charges through the court commissioner.
