Caroline County, MD - On August 15, 2026, at approximately 1:05 a.m., a Caroline County Sheriff's Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop near Main Street and Old Town Road in Goldsboro, Maryland. The stop was for a speed infraction.

The driver was identified as Deanna McGee, a 32-year-old woman from Greensboro, Maryland. McGee told the Deputy she had outstanding warrants through the Caroline County Sheriff's Office.

As a result, McGee was placed under arrest and taken into custody. Deputies later confirmed she had two active Caroline County Circuit Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Comply with Pre Trial Supervision.

During the stop, the Deputy saw CDS paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. This led to a probable cause search of the car.

The search turned up additional CDS paraphernalia and suspected heroin and fentanyl. McGee was issued traffic citations for speeding, failing to display her driver's license, failing to display her registration, and failing to show proof of insurance.

She also received criminal citations for two counts of CDS Possession, Not Cannabis, and two counts of CDS Possession, Paraphernalia. McGee was held without bond on both bench warrants.

She was transported to the Caroline County Detention Center.
