Cordova Woman Arrested for Failure to Appear in Court
Talbot County, MD - A Cordova woman was arrested last weekend after failing to show up for a required court appearance tied to a driving charge.
On May 25, 2026, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Jennifer Romero-Martinez, 32, of Cordova, Maryland.
The arrest followed a warrant issued on May 14, 2026, by the District Court for Caroline County. The warrant charged Romero-Martinez with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing.
The original charge she was set to answer for was driving without a license.
After her arrest, Romero-Martinez was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. She was processed there and brought before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.
