County Executive Julie Giordano to Host Wicomico Legislative Breakfast October 16, 2026

Wicomico County, MD - Wicomico County residents will soon have a chance to hear from local and state leaders in person. County Executive Julie Giordano is hosting a Legislative Breakfast on Friday, October 16, 2026.

The event will be held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in the DaNang Room in Salisbury, MD. Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m.

The meeting itself starts at 9:00 a.m. That is when the public is encouraged to come and attend.

The goal of the breakfast is to bring local, state, and regional leaders into the same room. They plan to talk about the main issues facing Wicomico County and the Eastern Shore.

Several local groups are expected to take part. This includes representatives from the Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office, the Wicomico County Board of Education, and local colleges and universities.

Each group will share updates on its work. They will also talk about the legislative priorities that matter most to them.

Giordano said the event is about working together and keeping the lines of communication open.

"This breakfast is an opportunity for collaboration and open conversation," said County Executive Giordano. "It's important that we continue working together with our legislative partners and community stakeholders to advocate for Wicomico County and ensure our residents' voices are heard at every level of government."
