Crisfield Resident Arrested in Local Narcotics Distribution Investigation
Somerset County, MD - A Crisfield man was arrested by the Somerset County Narcotics Task Force following a recent initiative to combat illegal narcotics distribution in the area.
Jawyne Antonio Taylor, 29, of Crisfield, Maryland, was taken into custody at his residence on April 1, 2026. He was charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, which include suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine.
Additional charges were filed against Taylor, including the intent to distribute in a school zone.
Following his arrest, he was transported to the Somerset County Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
The Somerset County Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative enforcement effort. It involves personnel from the Maryland State Police, the Somerset County Sheriff's Office, the Maryland Natural Resources Police, and the Office of the State's Attorney in Somerset County.
