Delaware Inmate Walks Away From Treatment Center

State of DE - The Delaware Department of Correction says an offender failed to return to the Community Corrections Treatment Center in Smyrna, Delaware after an approved treatment pass. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

David Wild walked away from the facility on September 14, 2026. His current whereabouts are unknown, and the Department of Correction considers him unauthorized at this time.

Wild is a white male born on December 16, 1987. His last known address was in New Castle, Delaware.

He stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has hazel eyes and is bald.

He was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, dark pants, and black sneakers. His current offense is listed as civil and support related.

Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities, which means they are not secured like Level 5 prisons. Offenders at these centers are allowed to leave to go to work, look for a job, or attend approved treatment sessions as they transition back into the community.
