Delaware Man Arrested on Talbot Child Support Warrant

Talbot County, MD - A Delaware man who had been wanted on a Talbot County court warrant for more than three and a half years is now in custody.

On October 13, 2026, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Michael Rashaun Evans, 43, of Delaware.

The warrant for Evans goes back to early 2023. The Circuit Court for Talbot County issued it on February 9, 2023.

Evans was supposed to be in court that year for a hearing about child support. He didn't show up, and the court charged him with failure to appear.

After the arrest, deputies took Evans to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. He was processed there.

Evans is being held until he can go before a Circuit Court Judge for a hearing.
