Delmar Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant Charges
Delmar, MD - Delmar Police officers arrested a local man this week after responding to an apartment on a warrant attempt. The arrest happened without incident, according to a press release from the Delmar Police Department.
On July 15, officers went to the 8700 block of Barbara Ann Way in Delmar, Maryland. They were following up on an active warrant for 33-year-old Ronnie Gerald White III.
Officers made contact with White at the apartment. They informed him of his charges and placed him under arrest.
White was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center. Police say the entire process went smoothly, with no problems during the arrest.
White faces several serious charges. These include first-degree assault, second-degree assault, second-degree child abuse by a custodian, and reckless endangerment.
White was taken before the District Court Commissioner, where he was initially held without bond. The following day, he was provided a bail review, where he was ordered to be released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
