Delmar Officers Locate Lookout Vehicle and Charge Driver With 4th Offense DUI
Delmar, DE - On July 10, 2026, Officers from the Delmar Police Department were dispatched to the area of N Pennsylvania Avenue and E State Street in reference to a lookout for a 2002 red Ford F-150 with a Delaware registration.
The lookout was provided for the Ford F-150 for a possible intoxicated driver.
Upon arrival in the area, Officers located the vehicle swerving over the yellow center line while traveling westbound on W State Street, approaching the Old Mill.
Due to the traffic infraction, a traffic stop was conducted on the Ford F-150.
Officers approached the driver and identified him as Todd Taylor. While speaking with Taylor, Officers observed signs of impairment.
SFST and ARIDE tests were conducted, which revealed unsatisfactory results.
Due to their findings, Taylor was arrested for DUI, and a Blood Search Warrant was executed on Taylor. As a result, Taylor was charged with 4th-offense DUI.
