DOC Searching for Man Who Walked Away From Community Corrections Treatment Center

State of DE - The Delaware Department of Correction is searching for a man who failed to return to a Smyrna facility from an approved work pass.

Steven Pozzie walked away from the Community Corrections Treatment Center on August 4, 2026. His current whereabouts are unknown, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The Community Corrections Treatment Center is a Level 4 facility. Offenders there are allowed to leave for approved reasons, like work, job searches, or treatment sessions, since the facility is not secured like a Level 5 prison.

Pozzie was serving time for theft connected to organized retail crime. He is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 220 pounds.

He has green eyes and brown hair. His last known address was in Wilmington, Delaware.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt with an American flag design, along with blue pants that have a white stripe on the side.
