Dover Woman Arrested in Talbot County on Warrant

Talbot County, MD - On August 5, 2026, Talbot County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Shakiel Nashae Carter, 32, of Dover, Delaware.

Carter was wanted on an arrest warrant issued July 6, 2026, by the District Court for Talbot County. The warrant charged her with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing.

That hearing was tied to an earlier charge of driving on a suspended license.

After her arrest, Carter was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.

She then had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Carter was released on her personal recognizance following that appearance.
