Driver Flees Traffic Stop on Foot in Salisbury, Arrested Short Time Later
Salisbury, MD - On October 4, 2026, a deputy with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office made a traffic stop near Route 13 and North Boulevard in Salisbury, MD. The deputy pulled the vehicle over after seeing it fail to obey a traffic control device.
The driver, Robert Lee Little, got out of the vehicle and ran from deputies on foot. Deputies chased him for a short distance before catching him and taking him into custody.
A sheriff's office K9 then did a scan of the vehicle. The dog gave a positive alert, and deputies searched the vehicle.
During the search, deputies found a syringe holding a clear liquid. They believe the liquid is a controlled dangerous substance, and they also found a syringe cap.
Little was arrested on outstanding warrants. He also faces Controlled Dangerous Substance violations from this incident.
