Easton Man Arrested After Wawa Fight Caught on Camera
Talbot County, MD - A fight inside an Easton Wawa landed one man in handcuffs over the weekend. Police say it all went down at the store on Ocean Gateway, and surveillance footage helped seal the case.
Easton Police were called to the Wawa at 8118 Ocean Gateway on May 31, 2026 for a fight in progress. When officers got there, they found two people throwing punches inside the store.
Officers stepped in and separated the two men. From there, they talked to witnesses on scene and reviewed the store's surveillance video to piece together what happened.
Based on that evidence, police arrested 43-year-old Edward W. Crosland of Easton, Maryland. He now faces two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, along with a Disorderly Conduct charge.
Crosland was taken to the Talbot County Department of Corrections, where he was scheduled to see a District Court Commissioner. On May 31, 2026, Crosland appeared in front of the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own recognizance.
