Talbot County, MD - The Talbot County Sheriff's Office has arrested an Easton man connected to a theft scheme that reached victims across the country.

Youngsen Huang, 40, of Easton, Maryland, is facing charges of retail theft, theft scheme, and credit card fraud.

On August 11, 2026, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office were contacted by several out of state victims. The victims reported fraudulent online orders made using their credit cards.

In each case, the stolen items were shipped to an address in Easton, Maryland. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division looked into the shipments and found a pattern tied to Huang's home.

Deputies say Huang received the packages at his residence and was a low level participant in a larger international criminal operation. The investigation suggests the scheme involved more people working together outside of Talbot County, Maryland.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Huang's residence. During the search, they recovered more than $16,000 worth of electronic merchandise.

The items were still packed in their original shipping boxes. The shipping labels showed dozens of different names, all connected to victims from across the United States.

Huang was arrested and charged with the offenses listed above. He was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond following his appearance. The Talbot County Sheriff's Office was assisted in the investigation by Homeland Security Investigations and the Easton Police Department.

Cases like this one often involve victims who have no idea their information was used until a charge shows up on their credit card statement. Investigators continue to work through the shipping labels found at the home to identify everyone affected.
