Easton Man Arrested on Theft and Fraud Charges
Easton, MD - An Easton man is facing multiple charges after police say he used someone else's bank card information to purchase goods.
On April 29, 2026, officers with the Easton Police Department served a Talbot County District Court arrest warrant on Laquan Savage, 32, of Easton. Savage was taken into custody without incident.
Savage was charged with five counts related to theft and financial fraud. The charges include theft between $100 and $1,500, identity theft between $100 and $1,500, and stealing a credit card.
He also faces charges of using a false credit card to purchase goods valued between $100 and $1,500, as well as using another person's credit card for purchases in the same dollar range.
According to charging documents, Savage used another person's bank card information to purchase goods.
This type of financial fraud can have a serious impact on victims. Unauthorized use of someone's card or personal account information is a crime under Maryland law.
