Easton Police Arrest Hurlock Man on Active Warrant Following Public Disturbance
Talbot County, MD - On March 18, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department were conducting a patrol in the vicinity of Lowe's. During the patrol, a vehicle associated with an active Talbot County District Court arrest warrant was observed.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as 72-year-old William G. Johnson of Hurlock, Maryland.
Officers made contact with Johnson to inform him of the active warrant. Following this notification, Johnson began shouting.
He was asked multiple times by law enforcement personnel to lower his voice, but he continued to act in a disorderly manner. The disturbance quickly attracted the attention of numerous patrons in the surrounding area.
Consequently, Johnson was taken into police custody for the active arrest warrant. He was also issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct.
Johnson was subsequently transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for booking, pending an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
