Easton Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Ulta Beauty Store
Easton, MD - On April 2, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a reported bomb threat at the Ulta Beauty store located at 219 Marlboro Avenue in Easton, Maryland.
Upon arrival, officers established a safety perimeter and evacuated Ulta Beauty, along with several surrounding businesses.
During the initial investigation, officers learned that a threat was received by store staff. The origin of the threat was later traced to Pennsylvania. Assistance from Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies helped determine that the threat was not viable.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office and the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene and conducted a K9 scan of the building.
The scan resulted in a negative alert for explosive materials. On-scene support was also provided by Talbot County Emergency Services.
The Easton Police Department expressed appreciation to the affected community members and thanked the assisting agencies for their help in safely resolving the incident.
