Easton Woman Arrested on Assault Charge

Talbot County, MD - Deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Megan Rae Jones, 43, of Easton, Maryland, on August 6, 2026.

The arrest followed a warrant issued that same day by the District Court for Talbot County, charging Jones with assault.

Jones was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. She then had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Following her appearance, Jones was released on her personal recognizance.
