Fall Adult Sports Return to Wicomico County

Wicomico County, MD - Wicomico County Recreation & Parks has several ways for adults to stay active this fall. Softball and pickleball players will have plenty of chances to get in the game.

The Courts Team Pickleball League is back this season. Teams can play on Wednesday evenings at The Courts at Harmon Field. Team entry costs $120.

Pickleball players also have a tournament option. The Shore Showdown Pickleball Tournament runs November 6 through 8 at The Courts at Harmon Field. Players of all ages and skill levels can compete in mixed doubles, men's and women's doubles, full court singles, and skinny singles. Entry is $60 and covers all events in the tournament.

Softball fans have a league of their own this fall. The Men's Slow Pitch Softball League returns with games played under the lights. The league is sanctioned through USSSA and offers both recreational and competitive divisions.

Team entry for the softball league is $990. Teams that register after August 11 will face a $50 late fee.
