Former Employee Arrested in $100,000 Embezzlement Scheme at JP Automotive
Greensboro, MD - On April 8, 2026, at approximately 12:57 p.m., a Grand Jury Arrest Warrant was served on Robert Alexander Salmons of Felton, Delaware. The warrant was served by Chief Trams.
Salmons faces multiple charges, including eight counts of a theft scheme ranging from $1,500 to under $25,000, theft from $25,000 to under $100,000, a theft scheme from $25,000 to under $100,000, and a theft scheme exceeding $100,000.
The investigation was initiated on February 27, 2025. A complaint was received by Sgt. Adams of the Greensboro Police Department from JP Automotive. The complaint referenced an embezzlement operation that occurred over several years.
It was determined that Salmons, a former employee, was operating a personal business called One and Done Automotive. Funds were allegedly siphoned from customers and corporate accounts belonging to JP Automotive.
A comprehensive review of financial records was conducted by Sgt. Adams. Evidence was uncovered showing that more than $100,000 was embezzled from the company during the employment of Salmons.
The investigation was successfully concluded and forwarded for prosecution based on the financial research and analysis gathered during the inquiry.
