Fort Hood Shooter’s Firing Squad Execution to Be Livestreamed

National News - The execution of Nidal Malik Hasan will be livestreamed, according to the Pentagon. Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in a 2009 shooting at Fort Hood.

The Army announced this week that Hasan will be put to death by firing squad at Fort Hood on Dec. 3. It will be the first military execution in more than 65 years.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth spoke about the execution on Wednesday during an interview with Real America's Voice News. "We'll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it's public," Hegseth said.

On Thursday, Pentagon officials confirmed the execution will be livestreamed. They said more details will be shared at a later time.
