Georgetown Police Search for Missing 29-Year-Old

Sussex County, DE - Georgetown police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man who was last seen almost a week ago.

The Georgetown Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for Ricky Garrison, a 29-year-old man who was last seen on or around April 14, 2026. He was last seen near the TRU Hotel in Georgetown, Delaware.

A Gold Alert is issued in Delaware when a missing person may be in danger due to a mental health condition or cognitive impairment. In Ricky's case, police say he made concerning statements to his family before he disappeared, which caused the Gold Alert.

Ricky is 6'4" and weighs around 280 pounds. He has blue eyes and distinctive half-blonde, half-black hair.

He was last seen leaving the hotel on foot. However, he may be driving a silver Honda CRV with Delaware license plate PC438075. His exact destination is unknown, but investigators believe he could be somewhere in the Georgetown or Ocean View areas of Delaware.

At this time, his clothing description is not known.
