Man Arrested After Break-In at Trappe Construction Site

Talbot County, MD - On July 24, 2026, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Cesar Alberto Ramirez, 41, of Lanham, Maryland. The arrest happened in the Lakelands Development in Trappe.

Deputies were conducting a patrol check of homes under construction in the neighborhood. During that check, they found Ramirez inside one of the unfinished houses.

Ramirez was taken into custody at the scene. He was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property.

He was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. Ramirez had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

He is being held pending further action by the courts.
