Man Arrested After Refusing to ID Himself

Talbot County, MD - On September 23, 2026, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a man, later identified as Lermaine Monte Price, 45, of Denton, Maryland, who is now facing charges after an incident involving his bicycle.

Deputies said they saw Price commit several traffic violations while riding his bike near Main Street and First Street. They stopped to speak with him about what they had seen.

Price would not give deputies his name or any form of identification. He also would not tell them who he was after being asked directly.

Deputies placed Price under arrest. He was charged with obstructing police and failing to obey a lawful order.

Price was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Price was released on his own recognizance following the hearing.
