Man Arrested on Assault and Property Destruction Charges Following Multiple Disturbance Calls in Ridgely
Caroline County, MD - On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 1:35 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an apartment on W. Railroad Ave. in Ridgely, Caroline County, Maryland, in response to multiple disturbance calls.
During the fourth response to the location, 27-year-old Ronald William Geaman 3rd was placed under arrest for multiple offenses.
While at the scene, deputies observed red marks and bruising on the neck of Geaman's live-in girlfriend. It was noted that these injuries were not present during the three previous interactions with law enforcement earlier that morning. The victim did not require medical treatment.
While being transported to the Sheriff's Office for processing, Geaman thrashed in the rear seat of the patrol vehicle. This resulted in damage to a rear radio speaker in the passenger compartment and a minor self-inflicted head injury. He subsequently received medical treatment for his injuries.
Geaman was processed and charged with first- and second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property valued at less than $1,000, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, intoxicated public disturbance, and intoxicated endangerment.
He was seen by a District Court Commissioner and was ordered to be held at the Caroline County Detention Center on no bond.
