Man Hit By Vehicle with Shot Fired in Princess Anne

Princess Anne, MD - Princess Anne Police are investigating an incident after a man was hit by a vehicle and a shot was fired in what appears to be a single, connected incident.

Officers responded to the area of Pine Knoll Drive and Somerset Avenue for a reported shooting. They arrived to find an adult male down in the roadway.

The man was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to TidalHealth for treatment. Police have not released his name or condition at this time.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man was struck by a vehicle. Officers also say at least one gunshot was fired during the incident. It's still unclear how the two events are connected.
