Man Shot on Skinners Court in Targeted Attack

Cambridge, MD - On September 13, 2026, at approximately 7:42 p.m., the Cambridge Police Department responded to the 400 block of Skinners Court for a Shot Spotter alert.

While officers were on the way, they learned a victim on Skinners Court in Cambridge, Maryland had been shot.

When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man from Cambridge with a gunshot wound to his leg. Dorchester County EMS took him to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

His injury is not life threatening. The Cambridge Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is now handling the case.

Investigators believe this was a targeted event. They are asking anyone with information to come forward.
