Mardela Springs Man Arrested for DUI After Crash

Easton, MD - A 25-year-old Mardela Springs man was arrested on traffic charges after crashing into a parked vehicle in Easton, Maryland, earlier this month.

On May 18, 2026, Easton Police officers responded to the 29600 block of Meadow Gate Drive for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries. When officers arrived, they identified the driver of the at-fault vehicle as Nathan Harper, 25, of Mardela Springs, MD.

Officers determined that Harper had struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. During their contact with Harper, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath and person.

Officers asked Harper to take part in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Harper refused.

He was then taken into custody without incident. Harper was later released on citations for multiple traffic related offenses.

No additional details about the nature of the injuries or the condition of other parties involved were included in the release from the Easton Police Department.
