Maryland State Police Host National Night Out Aug. 4
State of MD - Maryland State Police will join communities across the state for National Night Out 2026. The event brings police and neighbors together for an evening of food, games, and music.
This year's National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 4. Troopers from all 23 Maryland State Police barracks will take part, along with the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
Local law enforcement agencies and community organizations will also join in at various locations. The goal is to build stronger relationships between police and the people they serve.
On the Eastern Shore, several barracks will participate in events around the shore. Salisbury Barrack E will partake in an event at Salisbury City Park, located at 535 South Park Dr., from 5 to 8 p.m.
Easton Barrack I will be at the Bay Hundred Community Pool, located at 911 S. Talbot St. in St. Michaels, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In Centreville, the event will take place at Queen Anne's County High School, located at 125 Ruthsburg Rd., from 6 to 8 p.m.
Berlin Barrack V will have four separate locations this year. Northside Park in Ocean City, located at 200 125th St., will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Henry Park in Berlin, located at 123 Flower St., will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Sturgis Park in Snow Hill, located at 200 River St., will run from 5 to 7 p.m. White Horse Park, located at 235 Ocean Parkway, will also run from 5 to 7 p.m.
Princess Anne Barrack X will hold its event at the Garland Hayward Youth Center, located at 30660 Hampden Ave., from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
These events are open to the whole family. Neighbors are invited to come out, meet local troopers, and enjoy a night together in their community.
