Maryland State Police Investigate Gas Station Robbery in Easton

Easton, MD - Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack responded to a reported Robbery.

The incident occurred at a gas station located in the 9500 block of Ocean Gateway in Easton.
Preliminary investigation revealed that an unidentified African American male wearing a dark-colored hoodie entered the business.

The suspect was observed by store employees selecting more than $200 worth of alcohol. The merchandise was then carried past all points of sale without a payment being made.

The suspect was confronted by store employees outside of the establishment. During this encounter, one employee was pushed by the suspect while attempting to recover the stolen merchandise. A minor injury was sustained by the employee as a result of the physical contact.
It was determined that the suspect fled the scene on foot toward Cordova Road.
