Millington Driver Charged with DUI After Crash

Millington, MD - On September 17, 2026, the Kent County Sheriff's Office responded to Carrol Clark Road in Millington, Maryland, for a single-vehicle crash. A 2017 Hyundai left the roadway and struck a tree.

The vehicle was driven by Kailie Jackson, 25, of Millington, Maryland. The crash caused disabling damage to the car.

A passenger in the vehicle was taken by EMS to a hospital in Delaware for treatment. Their condition has not been released.

During the investigation, deputies said they noticed signs that Jackson may have been impaired. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and did not pass them.

Jackson was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. She was released to a sober driver after being charged.
