Millington Shed Fire Causes $3,000 in Damage

Kent County, MD - A shed fire in Millington, Maryland kept firefighters busy for nearly 20 minutes yesterday.

The fire broke out at a 20-by-15-foot shed on Speer Road in Millington, Maryland. The property owner discovered the fire and called the fire department for assistance.

Millington Volunteer Fire Company responded to the single-alarm fire with 20 firefighters. Crews had the flames under control in 17 minutes.

Damage to the structure is estimated at $3,000, with no reported loss to its contents.

Investigators have not yet determined where the fire started or what caused it.
