Milton Man Arrested on Murder Charges Following Fatal Forest Road Shooting

Milton, DE - On April 12, 2026, the Delaware State Police arrested 62-year-old Myron Savage of Milton, Delaware. The arrest was made in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred the previous day.

Troopers responded to a reported shooting on the 20000 block of Forest Road in Milton at approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 11, 2026. Upon arrival, a 47-year-old male was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the initial response, Myron Savage was identified as the primary suspect by detectives. A warrant was subsequently obtained for his arrest.

Savage was taken into custody without incident in Harrington and transported to Troop 3.

Savage was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3. He was officially charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Following the arraignment, he was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,060,000 cash bond.
